Wiper Seals

Scrapers or wipers are vital to optimize the performance of hydraulic cylinders. They scrape dirt, foreign particles, chips or moisture from the piston rods as they retract into the system. A hydraulic wiper or scraper prevents contamination of the hydraulic medium that could damage wear rings, seals and other components.

The GSZ2 wiper seal is a double-acting, o-ring , rod wiper/excluder designed to include two different unique wiping lip geometries. The two lips combine to scrape debris from the rod and contain residual oil on rod extension, as well as allowing oil to pump back into the cylinder.
